The Administration of The Voivodship Podkarpacie approved the idea

After looking into the case of renovating The Greek Catholic Church in Grabówka, The Administration of The Voivodship Podkarpacie approved the idea. We have received the funding of 35k zloty. This money will help secure the roof structure and its coverage. If possible, it will also cover the disassembling of the ceiling and preparing it for renovation. Part of the funds will be used to secure the window wood trim and the door to the church porch and the sacristy.
Icon from the Greek Catholic Church in Grabówka

We present you a 18th century icon from the Greek Catholic Church in Grabówka. This icon is the only part of the late iconostasis that we know about. Today it is placed on an exhibiton in History Museum in Sanok. A big thanks to Katarzyna Winnicka for sending the picture.Deesis, Greek: “prayer” or “supplication”, a representation of enthroned Christ Pantocrator. He is flanked by the Virgin Mary (on His right) and St. John the Baptist (on His left). They are shown facing towards Christ with their hands raised in suppication on behalf of humanity. Apart form these three figures the icon presents archangels: Michael and Gabriel.
